What are B-Grade JungleVine® Purses?
B-Grade JungleVine® Purses didn't pass our quality control inspections. Specifically, the dark-dyed soa color of these Somboun-style and Sokdi-style purses is just...off. On most of these purses, the color turned out a dusky shade slate gray, and in some light they resemble faded denim blue jeans. It's just different and looks a bit odd with the black zippers they've sewn in.
Dark-dyed soa color items are dyed in a community dye pot over an open fire outdoors. Learn more and see images of the artisans dying fiber here. While dark-dyed soa color items do have a tremendous amount of color variation, we can't help but worry that if we sold these as "standard" soa-colored purses, our customers might be disappointed. So we're selling them as B-Grade at a deep discount. Aside from the odd coloring, these purses are attractive, perfectly functional, and have nothing structurally wrong with them.
